Earn Money In Your Sleep…Literally

Become a Blogger

Perhaps one of the most popular ways to make money online nowadays is to start up your own blogging site. It only takes a few minutes to create a blog, and you can start earning money through affiliate posts and advertising in no time. The trick to building a blog which can bring in money for you is to stay consistent with the amount you post, always post quality content, and to make sure that you stay engaged on social media platforms in your spare time. It might sound like a lot of work, but it is fun and mostly stuff you can spend time doing in the evenings while sitting in front of the TV.

Once you are established you can then look into making money through affiliate links. This will usually involve a brand approaching you either directly or through a PR company and asking if you’ll share a link to their site or product through a blog post. You’ll be paid for the service and will sometimes even be sent products to review for free, which is a great way to try out new things while making money.

Sell Your Things

If you don’t feel that you have the time or inclination to devote to a blog, you can instead think about making money through selling your old things. We all get to a point where we have way too many items in our homes and they are just getting in the way. To combat this you can either throw things away, give them to a charity shop; or instead you can sell them on a site such as eBay or Gumtree.

Get Crafty

If you are a dab hand with a paintbrush or have any other craft skills, you could even open a store on Etsy to sell the things you make. It doesn’t cost too much to set yourself up and you can make some money while doing something which you are good at and which you really love. You can spend the evenings having fun and doing what you enjoy, but at the end of it you’ll get some extra cash along the way. You can find some great craft ideas on pinterest.com

Invest, Invest, Invest

If you have a hefty savings account which isn’t moving anywhere, you can use it to invest in something and get a great return. You could go down the popular route of investing in real estate, or maybe even try your hand at the stock market and invest in a company. Within a few months of holding a stake in a company you could find yourself with a good profit to come back on.

Holiday Making

If you have a property which you don’t always live in, you can rent it out to holidaymakers during the year. Even if you don’t you can either buy a holiday home at a company such as sweetgrass.com to rent it out, or even put your own home up as an Airbnb when you are away on vacation. You’ll literally be making money as you sleep.
