I’m down with the 52 Week Savings Challenge!

So for the past 2 years I seem to always see that photo of a spreadsheet encouraging people to save every week for the 52 weeks in the year.

When I first saw it I didn’t take it serious because I was already implementing other saving techniques for example the money jar system by  T. Harv Eker.

Now you make be wondering why implement a new savings strategy if you are already have one in place.  Well I have decided to give this one a different a purpose and the goal in mind is to treat this savings strategy as another short term savings vehicle that will  turn into becoming a long-term savings vehicle.

I will be saving for 52 weeks and at the end of the 52 weeks I will funding  two college accounts for my children along with rewarding myself for this accomplishment.

My husband has decided to join me on the journey, so he will be creating his own jar for the challenge.
