Why do people struggle financially?

Currently I am reading a book by MJ DeMarco called " The Millionaire Fastlane", in the book DeMarco goes into depth with his opinion of  why people struggle in life, business and with their personal finances.  DeMarco classifies those who  struggle in life sidewalkers, now I know your wondering what is a sidewalker; hint "Go check out DeMarco's book.

Well back to the story,  being a Financial Coach and former Financial Advisor, I have met with many people who have an uncomfortable relationship with money.  At one point I have to admit in my life I struggle with money also.

Here are some of the common reasons people think they struggle financially.

  • Lack of Information or No Access to information
  • Not enough income or money coming in for personal or business resources
  • Feel like "The man" is holding them "down" or" back"
  • It's the corporations fault or the government is not giving enough

These are just a few of the excuses I have commonly heard from many individuals.

Check out my video below, where as I talk about, why some of us struggle with money.
